Thousands of dog-millennia ago, the entire dog species lived peacefully on the dog planet, “Goodboy,” which orbited roughly half-way between the Sun and Mercury. In the dog-year 37,226,056 BDC, the leading dog scientists discovered that planet Goodboy’s orbit was unstable, and the beloved planet would soon spiral into its mother star. Having only a few hundred dog-years to escape, the dog species worked together to construct an escape rocket, the SS Doggo, which was big enough for all living dogs. Once all of the finest toys and treats had been loaded onboard, the SS Doggo left Goodboy, and headed for Earth. The dog species has thrived on Earth to this day.
